Questions we get a lot
- What's free?
- Students and pilots start with a free trial of the full Student suite. It runs for a set window. If there is a card on file when the trial ends, the plan you chose starts billing then unless you cancel first. If there is not, you pick a plan or drop to a limited free state. Independent CFIs have a free tier that stays free, a real tenant to run their students without branding. Clubs and schools talk to us to get set up, and the Club / School plan is paid from the start.
- How does School Mode work?
- A school covers training features in bulk so families don't pay individually. It's priced per active student, sold as single seats or in packs.
- How do CFI seats work under a club?
- CFIs working under a club use a seat on the club's plan instead of their own subscription. Club / School includes 3; add more by the seat or by the 10-pack.
- What happens to my personal subscription if a school covers me?
- We pause your personal subscription instead of billing you for both. Your plan keeps its tier, we stop collecting on it while the seat covers you, and your records stay intact. Nothing is charged or refunded on the day the seat starts, and your plan resumes at its original tier when the coverage ends.
- Do you charge per CFI at a school?
- The Club / School plan is flat and includes 3 CFI seats. Additional CFIs are add-on seats, not a surcharge on the base plan.
- What if a school stops paying?
- Access continues through the current billing period, and we'll reach out about keeping student records intact. Your account and training record belong to you and follow you across providers.
